How do I prove that my ex wife will not allow me to speak with my children on the phone? I live in Ohio and they live in Kansas.

We assume there is no legal restriction on your ability to speak to the children by telephone. First send an email to the children's mother and ask for a convenient time for you to call, avoiding bedtimes, mealtimes, etc. When you call later, have a friend listen on an extension or record the call. You may only record calls in which you are a party to the conversation. If the phone contact is denied, the court may require mediation before an evidentiary hearing to compel the telephone contact is scheduled. Contact an experienced family law attorney. We are here to help.
