Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

How can I Retrieving Abducted Children from out of state non-custodial relative?

Defendent has sole physical custody of our 2 gilrs and neither one of us has custody of our son and we have joint legal for all. Recently defendent has moved with my 3 children to Kansas without permission to live with his mother so he can get his life togeher. Or so I thought. I haven't confirmed if he made the trip with my children or if he never stepped foot on Kansas soil. He was already out on bail for narcotic sells in Ca and I have confirmed that he hasn't stayed in Kansas with my children at all. I have discovered that he is currently in custody for gun sales in CA. I have been assigned mediation and a hearing in late Oct but I am going to go to court next Friday to see what I can do about getting my children back to California. They don't belong with his mother in Kansas. My children would like to try living with me again, it's been a couple of years. Isn't he violating some sort of law in either state by pawning our children off onto a family member? Can I file criminal charges against him? Currently he has been out on bail as well as evading the whole modication of custody due to his actions. Also, do you know the correct way that I should go about informing Soc. Srvcs/Soc. Security of his recent arrests?

You should file with the police and DA in your county to have them enforce your parental rights and tell them that your child has been abducted.

good luck.
