Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

Reversing or setting aside signed over rights

A little over 2 years ago, my ex-wife essintially blackmailed me.I owed an extensive amount of child support, didnt have money for a ''real lawyer''and so she offered me the chance to avoid prison by signing over my rights, so that her then husband could adopt, and I did so.I had a good bond with my son who was then 8,and I have regretted the decision ever since more than you can know.At the time I thought that if I could have afforded an experienced household name attorney,I might have had a chance to avoid prison and keep my son through an arrangement of some kind.My obvious question is ''Can I somehow arrange restored visitation, or am I just screwed?''Thanks for your prompt reply.

Sorry, it would appear you might be out of luck. If you signed anything that caused you to give up your rights, it is extremely to reverse that.
