Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I am separated from my husband and have split cars. Recently, my car was totaled and have received insurance settlement. I will purchase another car worth a lot more with the help of my parents. Should there be any problem titeling it in my name and my parents before we have divorced?

If the totalled car was in both yrou names, then probably not all the settlment money is yours. The money may have to be accounted for in the property/debt division in your divorce case. This is an excellent question to ask your divorce attorney.
