She's ruining my credit rating

I live in Kansas and have been divorced for a little over 6 months now. My ex-wife has still not had me removed from our mortgage loan and has been late paying 4 out of the last 5 months. Our divorce decree clearly states that as of the date of the divorce I am no longer responsible for the payments. I should have been removed from the laon last month per the decree. Can I take her to court to and have her pay all the fees to remove these bad marks from my credit report?

Not being responsible for the mortgage payment is not the same as being taken off the note. The mortgage company has to agree to release you from liability before your name will be removed. If you would like more information please feel free to contact me at 913-371-0600 or [email protected].
