Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I have sole custody of my daughter who is 7 after she was abused and neglected by her mother and step father. Now she wants visitations with my daughter every other weekend. I am confused, does she have any parental rights to my daughter if I have sole custody?

"sole custody" is term rarely. if ever used in divorce or other custody cases anymore. but, when it was, it did not, in its self, mean no visitation with the other parent. Unless the parentla rights of the other parent have been terminated by a court, the other parent probably has visitaion rights. The smae court Order that granted you custody rights probably adressed or mentioned the issue of visitation. Start there.

Good luck
