Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

supervised visitations

I was living with the mother of my child for 2 years...together we have a one year old daughter I left her 6 months ago...we have not had anything legal done we have not been to court....but I have been paying child support every week since I left her and I have receipts signed for all of that.my problem is she will not let me see my kids on the only day that I can see them which is sundays.ever since I left her..she gets mad and throws a temper tantrum every time she wants something like to sleep with me and I tell her no then she says you cant' see your kids anymore...and now the other day she calls and says she will allow me to see my daughter but only for two hours and it has to be supervised by her...my question is : can she do that..we have not been to court so how can she insist on supervised visitations...I have a nice home..i have always took care of my child.I work full time...I have a wonderful caring girlfriend that my daughter simply adores...how can she insist on supervised when no judge has proven me unfit...can I argue with her on that?

Re: supervised visitations

May I ask, WHY you are are avoiding court? How long has it been since you've seen your daughter? You're playing right into her hands. . .get yourself an attorney and get to court to establish appropriate visitation! Whoa. . .cannot believe what folks will sacrifice to save a $! Good luck. . .take some action, fella!
