Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

visitation

If a parent decides to move out of state, and they are to one who pays child support, and has visitation every other weekend, does that mean that the children have to go to the other parents in another state??? We live in Kansas we believe he went to Texas.

No, the children do not have to go live with the other parent in Texas. A child's residence is always determined by what is "in the best interest of the child." Consult an experienced family law attorney. We are here to help.
