Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas

my 10yr.old daughter has been called a fast loose little slut by an adult ,she has said this to many of are neighbors some children are not aloud to play with my daughter anymore my daughter crys everynight ,i have confronted this person and asked her to stop saying such things about a 10yr. old she again shouted at me stating my daughter by name was a fast loose little slut,then she began to verbally attack me by saying if i have a problem with her what am i going to do about it,lunging towards me with an infant in her arms,she runs a daycare ,i have several people willing to write statements a bout this

You may need to seek and order of protection for yourself and your daughter. You may also need to sue the adult for defamation on behalf of yrou daughter. That is where the peopel willing to testify woudl come into paly. You might also be able to prove acause for negligent or willful infliction of emotional distress. if your daughter has been seen by a doctor for her trauma.
