What can you do when you're ex-wife buys a new vehicle and stops making payments on a car that is in both your names and you don't want it to mess up your credit?

If the divorce decree gave her the debt for that vehicle (which doesn't prevent the creditor from coming after you), you can pay the debt and sue her for repayment.
