Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas
I gave a friend a dog that I paid $600 as a gift. He decided he didn't want the responsibilty, and he sold it for $150. Should he reimburse me?

Legally a gift is a gift. If you did not put any conditiosnupon your gift, the recipient may do as they wish. Morally, your friend should give you something, unless the $150 did not cover the expenses they put into the dog.
