Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas

My landlord is evicting us, he came a taped a evication notice on the door is that legal or does he have to take us to court first and give us 30 days.

Both may be true. The landlord has to give you notice, ( which the posting was) before they file suit to have you evicted. I suggest that you consult directly with an attorney uh your area.
