Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas
Sibling A and sibling B haven't consulted an attorney yet, but are discussing filing a wrongful death suit regarding their mother with a claim under products liability. The siblings are both legal adults.
Without sibling A's permission, sibling B is passing along these discussions to their father who was long divorced from their mother and has no legal interest and is not an attorney.
Father intrudes further and speaks to some Other potential claimant affected by the same product. Father knows about the Other because he is a long time friend of Other. Father, on his own, makes arrangements for a meeting between the siblings and the Other.
Sibling A finds out and tells the father under no circumstance is he to involve himself at all.
If sibling B goes ahead and talks with the Other potential claimant behind sibling A's back, or if their father keeps getting info from sibling B and passes it to Other, what problems if any could that create for Sibling A and/or for their potential lawsuit?
