Brenda,
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals uses the federal definition for significant misdemeanors which include domestic violence CONVICTIONS. It may be too early to tell if the county attorney will proceed in making this a conviction. The government however can use your entire record to make a decision.
So as long as you do not have a conviction for domestic violence you can apply, but to be sure wait and see how the DA's office handles your case. There is plenty of time to send in an application so please make sure you qualify first before handing over information that might get you placed in removal proceedings.
