Legal Question in Immigration Law in Kansas
Proof of first marriage
My wife entered the country on a visitors visa and married a man forty days later. Three months later she realized she made a mistake and they seperated. she did not go to the interview and the case is still pending She is now divorced. At our interview do we have to prove both marriages or just ours. The is very little eviidence in the first marriage.

Re: Proof of first marriage
You will have to prove that the first marriage was valid. Possibly only her testimony will be sufficient, but evidence of living together, joint accounts and the like will bolster your claim.
