Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Kansas

Would it be violating any kind of copyright law if a coffee shop-type business offered videogames for it's customers to play on the televisions at the coffee shop in exchange for a fee? Would I have to obtain permission from the makers of the individual games, and if so how would I go about doing this?

Thanks for the info!

Any attorney will say if the video games are subject to a copyright, the answer is copyright infringement. You are in the same situation as buying a movie, then showing it to people for a fee. You need to contact the copyright owner to get permission. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
