Good Afternoon,
I co-signed an apartment for my son in 2009 he moved to a new unit and signed a new lease after the 1st lease was up am I still liable?

If he completed the original lease, anxecuted a new lease, for a different unit, you should be okay. But, if it was an extension or renewal of the first lease, you may have dime exposure. You may have a defense of time, because the statute if limitations would expire. However, dime agreements are written such that they renew based upon actions if the tenant.
