Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kansas
I was late on my rent and my landlord changed the locks. He never gave me any kind of notice and all my possessions are still in there. Can i file a lawsuit for an illegal eviction. If so how do i do that

Best upon the facts you described, it sounds like you might have a viable suit. You would file your petition in the district court of the county where the rental property sits.
