Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kansas

I manage a municipal golf course and live on site (city property) in a mobile home that I own. I was required to live on site and provide my own housing when I took the job 29 years ago. I have no written agreement concerning my living arrangements. I don't pay rent of any kind or utilities - these are part of my compensation. I'm ready to leave, but will need time to move or sell my house. What rights do I have for remaining on the property for a while after I leave employment with the municipality? My relationship with the current City Manager and Council is very strained.

Under the facts you described, you appear to ahve nto right to remain after yrou employment ends. However, they would have to go through the court to legally evict you.

Good luck
