Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kansas
My ex-boyfriend recorded a videos/pictures of us having sex. We had a nasty breakup & feared that he would send them out to websites or people. It turns out that he has sent one video (that I'm identifiable in) of us to a woman through an email. I was able to find this out because I knew his password to the email (that he voluntarily told me what it was a long time ago) & checked up on him to see if something like this would happen. The pictures/videos were made for personal use. Is there any legal action that I can take against him since he distributed at least one of them that I'm aware of?
Ive taken no legal action as of now because he has full control over a leasing agreement were both tied to and I didnt want to act crass & ensure he wont cooperate. I also have text messages that show aggression & verbal abuse - well, as verbal as text messages can be.

You can ask the court for an injunction forbidding your ex from showing the picture to anyone else. You might also hire an attorney in your area to send a cease and desist letter to your ex.
Good luck
