Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kansas

investigation

last july,my wife was rear ended by a yooung man who admited that he was not paying attention.it happened on hi-way 36 in phillipsburg ks. no investigation was conducted and the one cop that showed up told my wife thar if she was injured that she could walk to the hospital.the other driver did not get a ticket.no pictures were taken.nothing.is there anythibg we can do?

Yes she is still entitled to damages for her medical care, lost wages and for pain and suffering. You should have notified your insurance company - they are entitled to "subrogation" - payment - for any money they sent you.

You can make this demand your self, sue in small claims if for $5000 or less -(name the kid as defendant - he should contact his insurance company)
