Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kansas
I was got ran over when I was 7. My parents got a lawyer and sued the person for $50,000. After court fees and hospital bills I was left with 1$6,500 which was put into a savings account to be untouched till I turned 18. I am now 22. I have been notified by the bank that the account has been closed to negative balance. but the records were only held for 7 years and they cant tell me who took out the funds. The only trusties on my account was my judge and my father who needed the judges prermssion and court orders to withdraw anything.
The judge is currentyl no longer an active judge but I assume he must of withdrawn the money. How else would the account go negative if it had that much money.
What kind of lawyer would I need for this case? I hear something about a Minor Compermise or Minor Compensation lawyer

You should consult directly with an estate or probate attorney in your area. You might go look at the courts file. Out should include accountings. Maybe this will turn out to be a bank error.
Good luck
