Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas

i bought a motorcycle last summer and lost the title before i could put it in my name but i do still have the bill of sale. i havent been able to reach the guy i bought it from what can i do

You may request a duplicate title for Topeka, using your bill of sale. They may refuse to give it to you, which means that you may have to file and action in your district court to quiet the title..
