Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas

A guy has had my cooler for months and I have asked his friend to get it back for me. He has been dragging his feet and I want to know what I can do to get it back. I live in KS, the guy lives in MO.

You can sue the man in teh Missouri county where he lives, or in the Kansas County where he got the cooler. Wehter the case shoudl be in small claims court, is a question dependent upon the value of the cooler. Before filing suit, you might want to hire an attorney to write a letter to this guy, demanding the return of the cooler.
