Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas

If you own a house with a garage and shop that was built over 100 yrs ago, what can you do if the neibor has padlocked the doors and is selling his property along with our shed? The police has been notified but they won't do anything because they say it's a civil matter.

You will need to consult directly with a civil attorney in your area. Until ownership of the property can be determined, it is impossible to determine if a crime has been committed, or what legal remedies you may have. Many civil practice attorneys provide a free or low cost initial consultation. Go find one.
