Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas
I live in kansas. A neighbor has let me use his pasture to graze my horses. My arch enemy claims he just bought the land and I need to move horses immediatly. Does he need to give me a notice or some time to do this?

If you are renting the land form yrou neighbor, then new owner must recognize that lease, until they cancel it. If the use of the land is gratuitous, then new owner owes you almost nothing. As you described it as neighbor "let you usethe land," it sounds like you are n the second category. You will need to move the horses within a reasoanble time after being told to do so. What a reasoanble time is, is dependent upon the facts of the particular case. If you are unable to move the horses within the next day or so, you should consult directly with an attorney in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. Take any documents you have, and let them ask you follow-up questions.
