Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas
I believe my wife and her mother are trying to sell an old vacant hotel we own without consulting me. The deed lists her mother and my wife (a married person) as the deed reads. How can I stop the sale or at least insure I'm involved in the transaction.

I am a bit perplexed. You say that you own the house, but the deed is just on your wife and mother- in- laws' names. They may be able to list the hotel for sale without you, but most title companies will require that you sign off on the actual transfer off title on off to insure the title.
