Interferes with work - need to make a request
One of the most important factors in responding to a sexual harrassment claim is asking for relief - reporting to HR is the most important step, but telling them what you want them to do is next most important. You should make that request with the advice of counsel if at all possible.
Re: Interferes with work
You may very well have a case for sexual harassment. Your employer has a duty to investigate and take action to stop harassment of you by a supervisor or another employee. If your employer does not do this and you lose your job, pay raises, or suffer adversely in other respects, you may recover damages. The first step is to follow the company procedures for a grievance and to file a complaint with the Kansas Human Rights Commission. However, I would advise you to consult with an attorney before doing either, so you will know what your rights are. The law in this area is complex and many factors affect your ability to recover.
