Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
car crash
I was in a car crash and it was the other persons fault and the car got totaled, and my lawyer told me that there was hope becasue the car the hit me was insured, but the person that was driving was not insured. Now that the money is coming in the lawyer is tell me that there is no insurance on the other car. And he wants me to sign a paper with out reading it, it is suppose to allow him to do more research, but he wont give me the time to read it he just wants me to sign it. What can I do.

Re: car crash
You should read whatever you are asked to sign. If you do not understand it, ask your lawyer to explain it to you. If you are not allowed to read something before signing it, that should be a clue to you that perhaps you should not sign it.
