Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
I have a "disobeying traffic light" ticket. I believe the actual event was not enough to consider it a run-through. I also believe the officer was under the mindset of giving out tickets as much as possible as quickly as possible. I was in Overland Park, Kansas when I was pulled over. However, the ticket clearly says at the top STATE OF KANSAS, COUNTY OF JOHNSON, CITY OF LENEXA. The location written is 3-5 blocks away in the other city as well from where I was actually pulled over. Is he even able to efficiently pull me over and convict me in a court with the wrong intersection written on the ticket in a different city?

All the strange facts you mentioned could be raised as defenses at trial, and/or basis for a plea to a lesser offense.
Good luck, and let me know if you need representation.
