Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
my husband
my husband got caught driving on a suspended license for the third time and was arrested and sentenced a year in the county jail. he is on work release and is thinking about leaving if he does can they look for him out of state?

Probably no law enforcement personnel will leave the state to look for a person who violates the terms of their work release. But, they will be listed as fugitive and probably get picked up in some state's system down the road. I suggest that your husband NOT flee the state. The trouble he could get in later will be greater than what he faces today. He may never be able to get a driver's license in any state, while he is a fugitive.
