Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
In Kansas traffic law, is it permitted to transport a passenger's prescription medication in something other than the original prescription container?

The question is possession. If the passenger "possesses" the drug, it isn't really a traffic law issue. If they allege that the driver is in possession, the fact that the passenger has a prescription for that drug as a medication probably will not help the driver. Perhaps if the passenger is the minor child of the driver, possessing some might be explainable. If you have been charged with possession, (either as driver or passenger) you should consult directly with a criminal defense attorney, in your area, very soon.
