Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
I recieved a cell phone violation while driving and I was not given a ticket but in fact a notice to appear in court. I read the ordinance and there is no min or max on the amount of fine I will recieve and also what the basic terms are. What should I do when going to court?

If possible, hire counsel to advise you as to teh specific facts of your case. The ordinance violation you were issued, has a minimum and maximum in the class of violations it is listed in, in every jurisdiction that carries such a prohibitiojn. Generally they are limited to a fine not to exceed $500 or a term of less than 91 days in jail.
Good luck
