One of the variables to consider is what jurisdiction you are in. Were you given a ticket by a Highway patrolman, Sheriff's deputy or a municipal officer? In what city or county court is your case?

Factual scenarios like your are common. The identity of the court and prosecutor help detemione what deals are possible. In most situations you will do better with legal representation.

Good luck
