Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kansas

my aunt is in the hospital and dying of cancer. She wants me to handle my uncle's affairs after she passes. Her name is on the accounts and the bills. Since she is in the hospital now, we are obviouly late in the game of getting this done.

I am sorry for your aunt's situation. The best possible solution would be to get a trust in place wherein you are named as trustee in the event your aunt is unable to serve. It is amazing how quickly a very good estate plan can be put in place with the cooperation of all parties, attorney included.
