You did nto indiate if the title had passed from Dad to the kids yet. If it has not, (thorugh probate or TOD) then it may be too late for kids to redeem. In that case the "buyer" that bought through teh kids, has not bought anything that would give them any tenable claim to the house. You also did not indicate if the sale had been approved by the court yet. If it has not, then you may still be able to do someothing int eh foreclosure case. If not, then the house may now belong to whoever bought it at the foreclosure sale.
