Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kansas

Kansas Wills

My 94 yr old mother is not expected to live for more than a week or two. I am one of five siblings, and have just been informed by the youngest sibling that the will that has existed for more than 25 yrs has been torn up. This sibling also acquired a quit claim deed to my mother's home which was to be divided. The youngest sibling has also taken my mother's name off of all bank accounts and money markets and placed them solely in her name.

She claims this all happened due to my mothers request 3 years ago. No one can find out any answers as my mother is now incapable of speaking and not of sound mind.

How do I begin to find out if the youngest sibling is within the law of Kansas Wills.

I do not believe that this would be my mothers last wishes. She always spoke of dividing everything with all of her children. I have personally seen the old will but unfortunately did not think it necessary to have a copy.

I would appreciate any advice or direction you could give me .

Thank you
