Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kansas

Kansas

Father Deceased

7 siblings

4 of 7 received P.O.D. CD's

3 of 7 received nothing

Estate turned over to 2 of the 4 siblings.

No plan to share.

Is there any legal grounds to force equal/fair distribution of asset proceeds?

It sounds like a probate estate needs to be opened, if it has not already, to have the probate judge determine distribution to heirs. You may contact the probate court of the district where yoru father last resided or was otherise domiciled. They can giove you information about how to get the estate sstarted. They can only give you general information. You will proably need to speak direclty with an attorney to find out your options. Many probate attornies offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck
