I need to get letters of administration for my father who passed away in Kansas what do I need to prepare and document in order to put together a package for the court, and can I do it without an attorney?

It is not advisable to attempt an estate without legal assistance. Find a probate attorney in your area. You may just need to pay one to assist you in preparing document.
