Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kansas
My Mother-In-law is in her last last stanges of Cancer and we can't find her Will. She told us where she thought it was but it's not there. How do we go about try to get a copy of it. No body seems to know what to do.. Could you please help me.

If she has capacity, she can appoint someone as her attorney in fact (power of attorney) who can look in her safe depsoit boxes, storage lockers, attorney's offices, etc. If she is only lucid at moments, then try to find pout who drew up the will and who witnessed it. Perhaps those people can help you find the oringinal.
