Re: Have not recieved benefits check

This answer does not constitute legal advice nor does it create an attorney-client relationship.

You are not entitled to the first week's benefits until you have been off work for three weeks. You do not indicate what the date of your accident was. You would not get a check until you had been off work two weeks.

Are you sure your employer has turned your claim over to the insurance company? Is there any question whether you were hurt on the job? If you have been contacted by the insurance company, call them and see when you can expect a check. If you haven't heard from an insurance company, you should tell your employer.

If you need further information feel free to email or call me. I hope this has helped you. Jim Wright
