Legal Question in Workers Comp in Kansas
workers comp settlement
I recently broke my radius bone in a fall at work. I just returned to work and I have heard some co-workers say that after my physical therapy is done, I will be offered a settlement. What is this?

Re: workers comp settlement
If you have any permanent impairment to your arm as a result of the work-related injury, you are entitled to some financial compensation. Normally, it is necessary for your workers' compensation attorney to send you to a doctor for an evaluation and "rating" report. Your compensation will depend on the amount of impairment and your wage at the time of the injury. For more information, feel free to call or visit our website.
