Legal Question in Banking Law in Kentucky

Privacy on Individual Loans

I had a personal loan at a local bank. Only my name was on the loan. When my husband went in to inquire about a loan, he was asked if he wanted to add my loan to his. I did not think a bank could discuss an individuals personal loan with another individual even if they are married. Am I wrong?

Re: Privacy on Individual Loans

As much as it concerns the Israeli law you are not wrong, unless a right to do this has been given by you to your husband in the past ( for example, when the bank account has been created).
