Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
Going to court over old lease agreement
In 2003 I took back a jeep I was leasing before the time was up. I had to quit my job (surgery) and was unable to continue paying for it. Now they are taking me to court to try to collect 10,000.00 that I don't have. Should I file bankruptcy? I can't pay it. Help!

Without knowing more about your situation, I could not recommend filing bankruptcy OR not filing. Seek an in-depth review of your entire financial situation from a qualified bankruptcy lawyer. One place to look for a recommendation is the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys -- nacba.org.
Many offer free initial consultations. Take someone up on the free consultation and find out what is best for you. Good Luck!
