Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
use of credit cards
when filing bankruptcy how long should you stop using them before you file? and on cash advances how long should you wate before you file after getting the cash. we used them up until i got my social security disibility to live on. and now their is no way we can make all the payments .

The short answer is "the longer the better." Using credit cards a few days or even weeks before filing is asking for trouble.
