Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
''divorce''
My divorce is final and I want to file bankruptcy on the credit card debts. Since I was declared responsible for these debts can they go after my ex-wife and if so can she go back to court and make me pay for debts that I have filed bankruptcy on?

Re: ''divorce''
As far as the credit card companies are concerned, both
you and your wife owe them (assuming the accounts were joint).
If you bankrupt the debts, the companies will almost
certainly go after your wife who will likely go to
the divorce court seeking contempt sanctions or other
relief....
