Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
Can you file bankruptcy while being charged with TBD
my sister is currently in jail for theft by deception. she has been charged in several area counties. she will possibly be spending jail/prison time. can she file bankruptcy to take care of her debts unrelated to these charges. (i.e., car payment, finance companies, credit cards, utility charges, etc.) if so where should she begin. if not do you have a suggestion so that these do not damage her further.
thanks for your assistance in this matter.
