Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
Can I file?
In the past I had filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. In December it will be discharged for 2 years. Unfortunately, I have found myself in a financial dilima, partially my fault, partially the fault of covering past roommates bills, which is why we are not roommates any longer. Am I eligeble to file any bankruptcy chapter?

Re: Can I file?
Depending on, among other things, your income, monthly expenses, and amount of debt, you may be able to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. In that type of bankruptcy, designed for individuals with a regular source of income, you can propose to pay back all or part of your debt over a period of from 36 to 60 months.
I suggest you contact a bankruptcy attorney for a consultation about whether a Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing will work in your particular situation.
