Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
Lease and credit cards
I am thinking of filing for bankruptcy. I have a monthly income of 700 dollars. I have a lease of which I pay $310 per month. I also have $120 per month car payment. 150$ per month insurance. I owe approxamately $3000 in credit card bills to 3 different compnanies. I have $100 per month in student loans. From this info would bankruptcy help me and would it eliminate the lease and credit cards? Do I have to have a lawyer, which I obviously can't afford, or can I file on my own? Also what is the difference between chapter 7 & 13, which would be better for me?

Re: Lease and credit cards
Yes, you need to discuss this with an attorney as soon
as possible. I would be happy to discuss this with you
by phone. What county in Kentucky do you reside in ?
You can probably discharge the credit card debt and
the lease debt. Is it a lease on a vehicle ? Please feel
free to call me at 270-651-7777
