Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky
lein released
filed chapter 13 and all debts have been paid except the lein has not been removed from house. this has been paid off sice 1997. how do i get the lein released from property

If the debt has been paid, you are entitled to have the lien removed. You should request of the creditor that the lien be removed. If for some reason the creditor refuses, it will generally be possible to have the lien removed involuntarily, but this will require seeking a court order.
